I got a raise at work! I think I'm gonna bake another cake this week sometime to celebrate!
Really this is a whole lot bigger deal than some raise. It's something that I've been trying to gather the guts to do since July...I know, ridiculous. For some reason I was hugely intimidated by the idea of asking my boss, who is my aunt by the way, if I could have more money to do what I've been doing for the past 3 and a half years. I care about pleasing people a little too much.
