Our barn is being torn down today... and honestly, I'm a little sad. I have lots of wonderful memories in that barn. I loved the loft and spent tons of time there reading, and made it a little getaway. I remember when my cat Cally had kittens up there and I would go up there everyday to give them some milk and bread. Ah...so glad I've grown up in the country and had the barn as a part of my childhood.

Ok...so Mom is crazy about barns (she will probably cry when we tear ours down) and decided that we should take our last family of five picture with the barn as the backdrop. (It's crazy that this is our last family picture of 5!) Our thoughts about the ugly leaning and rotting barn as the backgroung...UGH. But...we finally got around to it this morning...becuase she's mom and who can argue, right? And it was a ton of fun! Wallace family photo shoot = a party! Anyway, it was a good time - Dad even enjoyed himself a little, I think.
