Mama & her baby

Just across the Macedonian border is a beautiful spot we have loved visiting a few times since we've lived in Albania. It's called Sen Naum. It's a simple monastery filled with peacocks settled on a natural spring that feeds the large lake that the monastery is located on.

The weather was perfect this visit and we enjoyed a good lunch on an island restaurant, beside quiet water and some fun traditional Macedonian music from a band of a violin, bass, accordion, and guitar. We took a ride on the spring-pond in a rowboat, rowed by a very knowledgeable guide, Alexander. We souvenir shopped and mom found a clay casserole dish and I bought some crochet earrings. And we strolled around the monestery.

Mom caught these two mama and her baby shots from the day.  :]
