So glad I took that semester of German in college...I will soon have the opportunity to put the seemingly frivolous class to good use! Kenny and I are heading to Germany tomorrow and couldn't be more excited, except for all there is to do. (And believe it or not, blog is on my to-do list. Right between water the plants a lot and unplug everything.)
We're going to Germany to connect with an organization of people that we've been connecting with since fall of 2009. KontaktMission. We first met them at the National Missionary Convention when it swung through Peoria. We were in search of an organization with established ministries in Europe and we found KM. They were not only establishing ministries in Europe, they were established in Europe and that was unique to us. We love the idea of joining a European organization to learn to reach Europeans with the Gospel. And more and more its not just an idea, but the more we connect, a reality.
So this week we're meeting, learning from, sharing with, and enjoying some missionaries from all over Europe! Praying for growth and vision & thankful for provision and guidance!
(And now, I have some packing to do! Tschuss!)
