Last week I looked at a friend's electronic reader and decided I'd like to have one. She had a simple, inexpensive Kobo and it had 100 classics on it. Now, I've had this failed goal of reading the classics for years now. (There's a humongo list and I've only read, say 12.) So this eReader would help me accomplish this very important life goal, right. Annnnnd...we (mostly my husband) have a weakness for books and lots of book shelves, which we will inevitably have to sell or give away or box when we leave as missionaries. So how much would an eReader be perfect for us? These were the points I had planned to convince my husband...and turns out, he needed very little, almost no convincing!
So when I got home from school today and saw a brown box with the words
nook color and
barnes and noble on it, I immediately thought...
"my husband is so sweet! He bought me a reader and didn't even say anything!" So I thought I'd just let him go ahead a surprise me and wait until he got home, but I couldn't and I grabbed my keys and ripped open the

box to find...
Books. Kenny's text books for his next online class. And I laughed at myself. But he's still really sweet and buying a reader without even telling me is something he would probably do. Anyway, now that I've had some more time to think about it and research, I think the Kindle is the reader I would go with. So...hoping to be the pleased owner of one soon!

Haha, great story! I want a Kindle too, but the chance of one showing up on my doorstep in Kenya is about a million to one. :) But let me know what you think of it - if you love it, but I'll start saving up!
