• It's been months since I read fiction. I'd really like to read a good story right now.
• I have a friend, Carmen. At 55, she is a beautiful, fun, adventurous, strong, creative, and wise woman. I enjoy her company at work - some days she's the reason I come to work. She's worried about her family right now and uncharacteristically stressed out. I listen, but I wish I knew what to say.
