Hello from Eastern Illinois University!

So I've practically completed a week of school - it had its ups and downs, but was overall fine. Adjustment isn't going to be so tough. The highlights include spending my downtime with a friend (I have like a whole 2 now!), almost all good profs, and Campus House. The not so good stuff would be my Social Problems class, accidentally skipping two classes, and way too much downtime. I don't know, that's definitely the extremely shortened version of my EIU experience so far. (Maybe I'll get to tell you a bit more sometime soon.)

I had better enjoy all this freetime because when I begin working next week and that stuff that I've heard is called studying begins, things could get crazy. Right.

So for my IWU friends especially (if any of you even read this) here's a picture of one of the buildings on campus, Old Main. It's a little bit cool. You'd like the campus, I'm sure. You know, you should come see it!! Good idea, hm? Holler at me if you're ever coming out West.

I went out for Chinese today and my fortune cookie read, " Friends long absent are coming back to you." It's a sign. Miss you, my non-Illinois friends. Like crazy.

So...EIU. Go Panthers.
